Nav for MS Exchange won't stay running

Hello,

The service NAV for microsoft exchange won't stay running. The machine is a Windows 2000 Server which is dedicated strictly for email. Unfortunately we got hit with the blaster virus and everything is working fine again except for the NAV service.

On the first failure, second failure and subsequent failures the service is to restart. However this only lasts for 3 minutes and then the service remains down the rest of the time until it is restarted. Any ideas comments or directions we should look in would be appreciated

Ran into a similar problem tonite with a messed up 2000 SBS server.

Make sure your admin user has exchange rights, check your services and make sure the NAV for msexchange isn't logging in as a service... make it log in with the administrator user/pass.

I had a similar issue. I was using 7.5 but it doesn't seem to work with Exchange 2000 SP3+. I installed 8.1/3.0 and it worked fine.
