NAV for Microsoft Exchange Service does not start

I'm running Exchange 5.5(sp4) on Windows 2000 Server(sp4 with latest windows updates). I have Norton Antivirus For Microsoft Exchange version 2.1.

I can't get the NAV for Exchange service to start. I start the service and it times out saying it "didnt start in a timely fashion" it just sits there saying "starting..."

I need this to work so bad...but can't find anything to help.


HELP!!! :)


 
Hit the Symantec site, and their knowledge base. It has articles on how to re-install NAV for Exchange and then how to re-start the service. I have gone through this and the articles were right on the mark. It will not work any other way.
