NAV Corporate ED Basic Question

We just purchased version 7.6. I assume I need to install the sever version first and then the clients. That might seem like a stupid question but, the Implementation guide talks as though there is a previous version in place. Which is not our case. And when you install the server snap-ins you should see all the clients.
I'd appreciate for any help. I need to get this going vary quickly since I'm on business trip next week.

install the server first and you'll see all the clients (i.e. none). Then when you install the clients, choose managed and you should see the server. Once the client is on, you'll see it on the server.

Then update the server with definitions and the client updates.

This is a simplification - if it was this easy, we'd all install it!
