Hi

Really sorry if this is a dumb question, but its driving me nuts!
I have created a simple nav bar where the text changes color when the 'button' is clicked, the problem is when i export to DW and then load the web page the links work fine but the 'button' only changes color for a split second and then just reverts back to the 'not clicked' color - what i need is for the nav bar to display the button down color when it is on the appropraite page.

I have tried having the link set as -blank, this is fine but when the window loads, the nav bar just goes back to the button not clicked color.

any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

if the nav bar exisits independantly on each page, then the page you wish to show the down state, you will have to change the image from the up state to the down state on that page.

for example, you have page1_up, it gets clicked and shows the page1_down graphic, you go to page 1, there you need to change the graphic to page1_down (or however your graphics are named obviously) it will not automatically show the correct graphic you need to adjust it.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..

Is the answer then, to save the navbar elements as a template and then design all other pages around that template?
