NAV 7.5 installation issue

Dear Techn support team,

While installing the NAV 7.5 as fresh installation following error message is displaying.

"unknown error encountered while processing(server name). Setup cannot continue on this machine. Setup will continue and modify NAV on other servers in the selected list".

To overcome the above issue, we have done following changes asper symantech knowlegebase.

C:\ share name as C$ and c:\winnt share name as Admin$. Also we have set the administrator group full control for the following registry setting.

HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services
HLUSERS\DEFAULT\S.W\INTEL


Kindly help us to overcome the above issue.

If you needed to make those changes, you have been playing very heavily with NT - these are required elements of NT. Suggest any "tinkering" you have done is undone or you reinstall the server. Once NT is running normally with no tweaks, NAV installs well (hardware permitting).
