If I run NAV 2002 Pro on all my desktops, and configure it properly, why would I have to put any antivirus software on my Win2k server?
There are new "Scan email" options that make Corporate Edition seem like overkill. Am I wrong in thinking this way? If it ain't broken, play with it till it breaks.

First of all corporate edition will be less costly in the long run especially if you have a large enterprise. One nice thing about corp edition is that you can set the software so the users cannot shut off their protection as well as set times and dates for the machines to go and get updates. Lets say a users has a boot disk so he/she can run this really cool program at work and it happens to be a virus and not that real cool program. If they used a boot disk and it bypasses the virus protection on the workstation then the server software will catch it. Corp edition is well worth the investment if you ask me. Chuck

In a perfect world this would work, but lets face it we don't live in a perfect world. There will always be that one workstation that does not have current virus definitions or that laptop someone plugs into your network. Since the Server is probably the most important I would definitely protect it with Antivirus software.
