I'm trying to determine what became of two companies that produced RPG II & III compilers for the PC back in the early 1990's. The companies were:

1) Native Software, Inc., based in Richmond,VA and headed by George Smith.

2) The Parkside Organization, based in Dallas, TX, one company officer named Jim Lubniewski.

Any clues as to the current status of these companies or their products would be appreciated.

Thanks,
B Claremont

Good luck with the Parkside Org. Their product was called Liberate/400. I do not know of anyone who may have this product.

As far as Native, Their product was called Mirco RPG II. I believe they were bought out by California Software (please do not hold me to this).

Also there are still some people using Lattice RPG II for the PC. Out of business.

Are you trying to create RPG programs on PCs. If so why not Visual Age for RPG??

Also California Software still makes BABY/400.

Good Luck with your search...
