does it support EMC/Symmetrix storage with load balancing active/active multipathing?

I don't want to use Powerpath becaue it is very problematic when rootvg disks are hdiskpower devices (problems with bosboot running, problem with mksysb and then system recovery from mksysb).

I think EMC will realise Powerpath is not 21th century soft for modern AIX versions and will fix this "bug" soon...

I believe AIX MPIO is only for failover and does not support load balancing. If load balancing is needed, you will need to go with additional support software (i.e. EMC Powerpath, etc)
