Hello,

I need an expert help. I work with WMware workstation, and while I tried to install Windows 7 32 bits, as a virtual machine, 2 errors windows appeared:

1) the first saying that it can't get wmx86 driver.

2) The other can't find a valid peer...

You can see attached the original 2 short message printscreen.

Usually, Vmware works perfectly. It is the first time I get these messages: I first uninstall vmware and install again, but I still have the same message. I finally installed Windows 7 using Virtual Box, until I can find why it does not work with vmware.

My OS is Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bits.

Thanks to help me, It is appreciated.

Natacha

Sounds like something do with the 32bit Windows 7 OS not wanting to run on your 64 bit Vista OS machine. I am running a 32 bit Windows 7 on ESXi, the free version with no problems at all.

Have you enabled Intel Virtualization Technology in your bios? I am not 100% sure that would help it but it certainly couldn't hurt it either.

Cheers
Rob

The answer is always "PEBKAC!

VT is usually needed for the 64bit virtualisation on a 32bit OS.

It may well be worth downloading 6.51 of Workstation to see if that fixes the issue.

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.
