anyone any experience of connected to a netware tree from a remote site that will be going through natted addresses

ie in terms of how to setup an slp that will support it coz technically all the stuff will be wrong

the dns etc is fine
 
Technically you won't be able to do this through NAT because of how the packets are structured. There is a TID on this.

I've tried to work around this and had a little luck by using the dos based LOGIN.EXE command, but I couldn't get full access to the tree, only the file system and a bindery connection.

oh good
kind of thought this as first look with an ethereal trace all i see is packet mismatch errors bouncing of the external firewall port

oh the joys of stupid schemes
