use an application that requires internet access, but which shows the ip which connected... if it differs from the ip of your actual machine, chances are u are being NAT'ed...
for instance, go to grc.com .. this website helps detect open ports and other security issues on your machine.. it probes your IP address and known ports that may be open..
when u get to grc.com, go to ShieldsUP! .. then go to Probe My Ports! .. when it starts probing, it will indicate what your current "public" IP address is.. if it differs from your current IP, then u may be getting NAT'ed...
of course, there are other ways, but that would need some explaining..
