NAT, PAT, statefull filtering, transparent proxy - PIX vs checkpoint

I have two questions:

Can anyone explain, transparent proxy and
statefull filtering, how cisco and checkpoint implement
that.


Can anyone compare or tell me if Cisco Pix and Checkpoint Firewall suport this:
NAT, PAT, statefull filtering, transparent proxy

the only thing i know about "transparent proxy" is is squid related, but i am not sure if it is the same thing.
