I have a Netware for Small Business 4.2 server
(SP6) with Groupwise 5.2 (SP3). The server has a
modem attached to it connecting to the internet.
I have "SET NAT DYNAMIC MODE TO PASS THRU = 0N"
at the end of my autoexec.ncf file. Whenever the
line to the ISP drops, I have to reissue the set
command above to enable mail to come through to
the GWIA. I've seen countless documents on this
issue, with no real fix for it. I also have NAT
Implicit Filtering disabled in INETCFG. My
interim fix is to load cron and have it issue the
command every minute or so to make sure that it
is set. I realize the server is at SP6; does SP9
cure this issue?

Thanks!

I'm running the same setup, though at sp9, and have never had that problem. I never saw it at sp8a either. I would agree that you should apply the sp, but also note that there is a seperate NAT patch, which may or may not be in the service pack. I don't have a link, but find the file NAT10.exe.
