nasty colors

Hi
I installed a creator 3D series 3 card into a sun ultra 10 machine. But in 24bit mode there seems to be a nasty yellow tint to everything.
Even the white solaris splash screen is now yellow.
I've installed the latest opengl stuff.

The screen make me feel sick.
It there a patch of fix for this.
BTW I need everything in 24bit not the default with 8bit overlay.

I have the same kind of setup with a Ultra 5.
Colors are fine.

I set it up using ffbconfig

for old creator 3D do :
ffbconfig -deflinear true
for new creator 3D do :
ffbconfig -deflinear true -g 1.1

to find out if it is a new or old card do :
/usr/sbin/ffbconfig -propt | grep "Gamma Correction"
if you have a hit, it is a new card.

If you still have problems after this, maybe you should try another monitor.

Thx alot.
This solve the overall picture.
But still it is not pure white, and when resizing boxes, i get blocks of yellow around some text and buttons.
