Narrowcast 7.2.4 for Exporting to Excel file

Does anyone know if Narowcast 7.2.4 can save to an Excel document without putting it into an email? I know that this is a built in function for version 7.5 but I'm just checking to see if anyone has a work around using 7.2.4. It just seems odd that you can send out an email with an Excel attachment but not save the actual attachment anywhere.

We are new to Narrowcast Server and still learning the ropes.

One thing that I forgot to mention. Eventhough the Readme file says that Marrowcast Server 7.5 is compatable with MSI 7.2.4, it is not. When you go to download NCS 7.5, there is a warning about the mis-stated compatability.

Yes, it is possible to save an Excel document to a specified directory. You need to use the Save to File ITM. In 7.5 this is expanded to save a file across the network to a specified location. I have tested and this works great in 7.5. Hope this helps.

The save to file ITM is new to 7.5. I'm looking for a workaround to get 7.2.4 to do the same.

The save to file ITM is not new to 7.5. Just the new functionality is. We have been using it since 7i. It just was not part of the out-of-the-box version as it is in 7.5. It needs to be loaded in addition to the typical NC install. You can find the zip file on the KB if you search for Save To File ITM.
