I have configured the repository for certian AV software for management. But some of the computers out there were installed with a different install file than the one configured for EPO. Is there a way to make the others managable with out re-installing the software?
Basically, the AV software that was installed on the computers did not have a NAP file.

Thanks,

BM

What software are you talking about here? ePO will only manage those software with NAP files loaded into it. Unless you can get your hands on the NAP generator from NAI, the only way you'll get NAP files to load into ePO are from the installation files.

Someone installed Groupshiel 5 on our new Exchange server but when I checked the directory of the software it did not contain the NAP files. I do not want to reinstall the software as any kind of down time is noticable 24 hours a day.

I did configure the repository for GroupShield 5 but that was the files I downloaded from Mcafee. I asked them if they had a solution but I have not heard word yet.

Thanks,
BM

If you're using ePO 3.0, do an "Update Now" on the ePO agent on Exchange server. This will "download" the correct plugin for GSE5 that will enable ePO to detect and configure GSE 5.
