Please help.....

i'm trying to add values that have been entered into dynamic text boxes. (values passed from a mySQL db).

It keeps returning NaN. Thing is, i'm 100% confident that the 'text' in these boxes *IS* a number.
I'm using the number() function too, it's just not playing fair.

Any ideas?

Can you post your code?

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

if you're using flash 7 the number() function is case-sensitive and must be typed Number(). That's all I can say for now until I see your source.

Thanks for your reply, it was that number (sorry Number) function that was catching me out.
