Is it possible to use an Application Module on a fiber extender module for the BCM? It is being used as an ACD system and would be nice to reuse.

Fems are only used for expansion modules such as extension,or line modules.
You can not attatch a CCU to it

I would think not since NAMs on a MICS were connected via the expansion card not the SM.

Just my thoughts.

Dasheen ...
The DS30 adapter allowed you to connect ports to one side and a DS30(fiber port)to the other. Typical application was a DVC based NAM to a Norstar Expansion port. It was a really touchy, evil little turds. I hated them.[nosmiley]

That would be the key question. Most of the compatibility requirements between the NAM and Norstar were based on the level of S/W the Norstar was running. I'm thinking it probably wouldn't work. But, I could see how a customer would rather reuse their NAM and not pay for the VM Seat keycodes on the BCM.

Supportdude: DVC NAM is before my time. I started working w/ Nortel products around the time they MD'd the NAM.
