Hi,

My Customer has three seperate companys all using the same 3300 ICP Rls 9. They would like to display the company names for incoming calls (DDI) so they can answer the call with the correct salutation, eg. Good Morning/Afternoon Company A, Company B etc.

Can I name the Trunks so the Company Name shows on the 5324IP Phone instead of "BRI Trunk" At the minute all calls (3 Single Number DDI's) terminate on multicall keys on two 5324IP Phones.

So in a nutshell I would like an incoming call to 0191 427XXXX to display Company A and calls to 0191 427yyyy to display Company B etc etc.

Any help would be much appreciated

Steve

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, the Bri Trunks, 4 in total are just 4 physical channels, the incoming calls come in as DDI's on any of these channels, so I know I can name the each physical channels, I just cant work out how to link the Names to the DDI Numbers.........

Sorry my mistake

Make name tag huntgroups
Piont the DDI to the group and use an always alternative to point the group to the console or make the extension(s) member of the nametag huntgroup

Hi,

Got that, so I'll create 3 hunt groups, name them Company A, Company B and Company C. Point the 3 DDI's to the corresponding Hunt Groups....

In each Hunt Group I can insert one member eg. Multicall DN 3600, make that key appear on the two Reception Phones.

That way when the call comes in it will ring the Multicall Key on both Phones and show the Hunt Group Name... sounds good to me.

I'll give it a try tomorrow..

Thanks very much for your help
