I'm new at this....still learning. So bear with me and my silly questions. =)

1) Where do I find the patch levels on Netware 5.1?
2) How would I know whether or not namespaces are
installed and if not, how do I install them?

Thanks...

OK:

1) At the server console, type VERSION. This will detail the Support Pack revision. Alternatively you can load NWCONFIG, select "Product Options" and choose "View/Configure/Remove installed products".

2) At the server console type VOLUMES. This will list your volumes and detail their name spaces and flags. They will all have DOS name space and should have LONG name space as well as volumes under NW5.1 are created with LONG as standard. If you want to load a name space onto a volume, you load the appropriate .NAM file (e.g. LONG.NAM), then at the server console type: ADD NAME SPACE LONG TO VOLUME SYS where SYS is the name of the volume. -----------------------------------------------------
