NameSpaces affect Performance

I have come accross a situation where the Client has created over 70 namespaces in reportnet
I know theoretically Cognos Says this should not degrade the performance.
I would like to know if anyone else has been in a similar situation and if yes did it degrade the performance of the Reprotnet Server.
The end users create a lot of Ad Hoc Reports (upto 300 page pdf reports)in this paticular situation and we are having issues with stability and performance

Namespace should never matter. A 300 page PDF report is what matters.
