Names appearing in "bcc" field greyed out;cannot be removed

I have a user who is using Outlook Express 6.Whenever she tries to send a new email,her bcc field already has a name (which is always the first name of her contacts list) embedded in it.She cannot remove it.
How does this happen and how do I have her remove it?
