What would the configuration or the named.conf and domain files look like for a webserver who is hosting 200 different domains, most with the same ip. These are virtual hosts under apache and freebsd 3.2 (if that matters)
Is there an easy way to do this? The box I took over has 200+ domain files. Since they almost all have the same ip couldn't the domain files be combined for the ones with the same ip. Keep in mind these are not CNAMES but A RRs. While I'm at it I'll drop the other shoe, what about the PTRs, these guys never put any in for any of the domains.
Well this is just a rant, ok, I don't think there is an easy way, really.
