named.conf file

Can anyone give me an example the named.conf file in the options field used to notify the master server and the slave server when an update has been made. Does the configuration look like this

notify yes;
also-notify {
ip address;
};

the also-notify directive is a zone level setting.

so it does not go in the global "options" section.
