Hello, folks,
I'm working on a database that has gone through several different versions and name changes, and have come across a confusing problem. Any insight would be much appreciated.
The current name of the database, "Item Tracker," appears both on the .mdb file icon in Windows Explorer and on the "General" tab of the "Database Properties" window in Access itself. The "Summary" tab in "Database Properties," however, lists another name, "Textbooks," that was used by an earlier version of the database. Finally, the Debug menu in Access refers to the database by its *original* name, "Books."
Why are these earlier names still in use? Is this dangerous in any way? And is it possible to establish the current name as the *only* name?
Thanks,
M
