Name or Rename files automatically

Hi All, I have a customer that I am designing a Document management system using windows sharepoint services, but they want when files are saved to the document libraries, a file name is given automatically (e.g) 000001, 000002, 000003 and it just continues to increment in that order, does anyone have any idea how to achieve this if it is possible at all? Even if let’s say a user saves a document to the library from word and puts a file name, share point will replace the filename, or just don’t prompt the user for file name period. Any help will be appreciated.
