name masquerading

hi all,

Does anybody knows how to masquerade the
"mail from: user@mashinename.domain.com" - part?

I know how to tell sendmail to masquerade the part
behind the "@".

The point is, that I've to send mails from an apache
webserver with several virtual hosts. I have a MX
record (DNS) for each of them. The point is, that I
don't know how to get this different
"mail from: user@mashinename.domain.com" - parts
to seperate the incoming mail_errors.

Because actually the mails are send by the same user
(apache).

hope my explanation of my problem is not too
confusing

Apache has nothing to do with sendmail. However, you need to set up vhosting in the sendmail configs. Check this out and if you need more help, let me know.
