I have a database I designed on one machine and when I copy it and try to use it on another machine I get errors on common functions that work fine on my machine. I read in the FAQs about a similar problem in access 97 but when I try the suggested cure of opening a form in design view on the machine giving errors and checking references for any marked "missing" I don't find any and both machines have the same references checked. Any ideas?

Thanks, Don

You need to open a MODULE in design view, whether that be code behind a form or and actual module. Then check for missing references. See the Microsoft Knowledgebase for full details about this problem.

If that doesn't work then does your code use COM objects like Outlook, Word, etc which might not be checked as a reference so it would not be missing?
