Hi All.

Have a little quandry here that goes as follows:

My customer has removed all of their receptionists from their outlying offices, and now when you call the location local number, the call does indeed go to their centralized receptionist. No issue there.

However, they say all they see (at the central reception location) when they get a call that is forwarded through the autoattendant is the phone number... not the business name in "feature settings" or the extension name or number. After going through the bcm r6 documents from Avaya, I noticed the Feature Name was more than 8 digits, so I reduced the name length, made sure that the Auto Called ID is on at both sites, but the OLI number is what is confusing me.

Is this the number at Telephony -> Sets -> Active Sets -> (select set) -> Priv OLI?

Or is there something in the Auto Attendant that will display the business name / extension? The reason I am wondering about the auto attendant is the call comes, in, goes to the auto attendant (And for some reason the customer has changed the number of rings on the line to 2 from the 3 I set it for to allow CLI delivery... will ask them about that when they get in...) The line gets transferred across their TLS network to the main office and the receptionist there picks up, but only sees the telephone number.

Regards

In your BCM system keycode's, have you got the MCDN in there?. How are your calls getting into the BCM system?. Are they via IP trunks?.
