Name conflicts with existing module, project or object library

Can anyone help

Whenever I try to copy a form or report etc (rather than create one from new) I get the following message

Name conflicts with existing module, project or object library

even if give the new item an obscure name

Have you decompiled? Compacted & repaired? Copied to a new database?
