How come it can take a day or so for a name change in Active Directory to take effect? For example if I change the last name of a user in AD it will take a day or so to change in Outlook. Outlook is not setup in cached mode and I am running exchange 2003 sp2.

How many DCs and GCs do you have?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

OK, so you have one DC that is also a GC. Is it also running Exchange or is that on a member server? What version of outlook are you using?

Have you ran a DCDIAG and NETDIAG?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
