I'm not sure if this is an Adobe problem or a Fujitsu problem or a ScanSnap problem but I had to start somewhere.
I recently purchased 24 Fujitsu ScanSnap S500 scanners, each came with the ScanSnap manager software and Adobe Standard. All 24 have been deployed, 23 are working great with one having problems. With in the ScanSnap manager you can set the default location to save the file as well as have it prompt you for a name rather than use the date or a system generated name like untitledXXX.pdf. The problem occurs after scanning, the save as window comes up giving you an opportunity to change the name as well as change the location if necessary. Once I click save, Adobe opens and I get a message: "Error opening document. Item could not be found". When I click OK the scanned document opens but it was saved in the default location with the default file name.
