8 port NAM Voice mail EXT Problem only one caller at a time
Set up a rout table using the digit 7 works great . The problem is when two people press 5 EXT transfer at the same time in the ccr tree on nam 4.1
both callers get a co line but the person than pressed the
5 1 second later gets dumped at says your party is not
aval. good by and hangs up. The nam in feature 983 is set on
option 5 for 4 channels out dial. The first caller
goes threw no problem. IT is not a routing problem,it can
only Hand one ext call at a Time Please Help this is code
Red my job depends on it thanks

do you have your trunks in a pool?
do you have the mailboxs with xternal xfer setup to use pool a?

yes 8 trunk in pool ext transfer as an option on node 5 transfer,ext.pool 2, than number it is not a pool or routing problem it is the nam it's self only lets the first caller to be ext transfer .The other caller does not go threw you can see the nam pick up the other outside line for about 3 seconds
than drop the line and sends the message to the held caller your party is not aval. Try your call later good by and than hangs up. The caller is not going to a mail box it is set up
as an external Transfer(EXT)is node 5 on the ccr tree

Thanks for the reply

Check your outdial channels, sounds as if you only have one.
Access F 983 PSWD press 5 change it there.

Yes I have it set to 4 in feature 983, 1020000,5 out dial channels set to 4

Thanks you for the fast answer but that is not it unless
it should be set to another value?

Test while viewing F915 Channel status
See if enough dots (channels).

. = channel thats idle
C = channel currently in use
A = available upon key code activation
X = PEC card required

curlycord

you could put an smdr6 on the system to see exactly what is being dialed

WORK SMART NOT HARD
