Customer says that some calls (1 out of 15) are not hitting the auto attendant and are routed to random Extensions. Checked all programming looks good all lines are set to answer by AA. Did a few test calls found that on my third call it went to someones Voice Mail Box. Any Ideas

I Don't want To Be The Phone Guy Today.

What is the setup- number of VM ports, type of lines?
Is AA supposed to answer immediately, or after X number of rings?
Did the phone you got forwarded to have ringing line appearances?
Is this a new problem on a system you installed that worked previously, or has it always been like this?

Perhaps the VM ports are all busy momentarily, then open when a ringing phone forwards it back. (though I don’t know if that’s how it would be handled by the system)

dtone. Is this a new install? Sounds like a problem that just started. None the less, check forwarding on phones and system programming. We all know sometimes a customer tries to attempt changing these settings.

Also, have you tried a reboot on the NAM if the unit has been installed for awhile? Don't know if it'll help, but if all your programming is all programmed correctly this would be my only recommendation.
