Nam VM is not ansering lines

I HAVE A PRIVATE LINE RINGING AT EXT., AND I HAVE PROGRAMED
FORWARD NO ANSER TO VM EXT. I DO NOT HAVE AUTOMATED SET UP
BECAUSE I WANT THE LINE TO BE ANSWERED BY THE EXT VOICE MAIL GREETING.
THE EXT. STOPS RINGING, BUT DOES NOT GO TO VM

Try setting call forward (F4) to mail ext on set, if this works your recall might be taking the call back before it can go to mbox. Lower the call forward no answer rings.

When in doubt RTFM (read the friggin manual)
