NAM Version 3.0 general delivery mailbox

On this NAM Ver 3.0 software when someone pushes zero out of a mailbox the call gets routed to reception. If the receptionist does not answer the call, the caller goes back to the original mailbox greeting. Is there any way to control the system so that the caller can leave a message in the general delivery mailbox/reception mailbox. comments are appreciated, thx
 
I cannot remember if this is by design or not. The first thing I would check is the transfer callback setting. If your system wide transfer callback is less than the reception CFNA to VM, then that would probably describe your situation. You would need to change the xfer callback to greater than the receps CFNA to VM.
 
That is true, if the call forwarding timer is equal to or less than the transfer recall you will get the genral delivery mailbox. I tested out on site earlier. Thanks for the post. Dave
