Am assisting folks who lost their NAM on Saturday evening. The hard disk has gone bad, and copying files is very spotty at best - most often returns a I/O error.
Does anyone know where on the HDD the capabilities file(s) are stored? I read another post that suggested c:\access2\runtime\sekur, but the \runtime directory on this hdd is empty. Perhaps another location? They have no backup of the capabilities file, and I thought I might get lucky if I can find it and copy it successfully.
This unit was purchased from AtlasPhones.com with a 1-year warranty. It's still within warranty, so will call tomorrow to see what our options are. Would they be able to send us just a new HDD, or are they going to have to send us a whole unit if we can't get that capabilities file copied successfully? This is an 8-port fiber NAM in question, and the last thing we need is for only 2 of the ports to work.
Any help/advice would be most appreciated.
