I need to do a software upgrade on a NAM and I can't find Nortel's "Norstar Voicemail Upgrade Guide". They had me burn an ISO image of the software to a CD and make a NAM boot disk. But what's the proceedure to do the upgrade? The install guide I have for the NAM doesn't show it as having a CD-ROM drive. Please help!

You also need an external Backpack CD-Rom that connects through the printer port of the NAM. If the upgrade keycode is installed you merely reboot the NAM with the boot disk in the floppy drive and the backpack with the upgrade cd connected to the printer port. When the upgrade successfully completes you will hear a series of ascending tones.

The keycode is a maybe. If you're already at 4.0 then a keycode should not be required. Check under F915, ADMIN, Software upgrades to see if the keycode is installed.
