I've gotten my upgrade disk for the new upgrade. I've got a 4.0.4a NAM MOD2 Fiber. I did the upgrade, and it will not let me back into the feature codes, except for feature 915. I can't get into 983 or anything else. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Do you mean feture 983 does not work or no password?

Feature 983 gives me "inactive" status. The only feature code (for programming) that works is 915. -= Beer is food! Is it suppertime? =-

Out of curiosity Davey, how much did the 4.1 upgrade empty the petty cash fund?

Cheers,

Inactive - it's all inactive. Maybe It's me - I've got 4.0.4c - and I'm thinking the diskette is an upgrade for a totally new software, in other words something that can't be upgraded from 4.0.4c...

Would this be a safe assumption? -= Beer is food! Is it suppertime? =-

Sorry to ask repetitive things but...

-Was this a 3G NAM or 2G?
-Did the upgrade yield the ascending tones signalling a sucessful upgrade?
-After the upgraded NAM was booted up on the KSU did it give musical tones?

Davey...power down the voicemail then do a Feature**XFTEST, press TEST then press REMOVE and do this for each of the Feature access codes then powerup the voicemail, if all went well the Feature codes will be reinstalled upon boot up.

I now know what I was trying to do - upgrade a 4.0.4a to a 4.10.5 - I don't think I really can do that without a totally new software install.
(the upgrade was on a diskette I downloaded from the Nortel site.

The files that I got for the 4.0.4c worked OK, just not to the 4.1 level. -= Beer is food! Is it suppertime? =-
