we upgraded a customer NAM from 4.04 to 4.1 by creating the bootable disk and rebooting the NAM. We've been able to fix the other issues since the upgrade, but it seems that either the mailbox numbers have changed to 2 digit numbers or the MICS 5.0 DN's changed...prior to the upgrade they were both set to 3 digit. Anyone else run into an issue like that?

Find out what is what first...do a Feature*0 and press Intercom key to see if the set is 2 or 3 digit length then go into F983 and look at a mailbox to see if they are 2 or 3 digits in lenght.

i haven't tested this yet....long weekend....but the customer is complaining that while in vm, sometimes dialing the 3 digit # results in an error, but if the last two digits are entered, it works. any ideas?

Still sounds like one of the 3 systems is at 2 digit DN's somehow, cant tell you which one untill we know what happends when it works, if it goes to vmail right away then the vmail is at 2 digits, if it goes to the set then the KSU is at 2 digits, if both are programmed as 3 digits then there must be an error/glich with the NAM and if so I would wipe out the Feature codes for vmail then reboot the NAM and do a reinstall on the NAM to clear the bugs.

Hope you have tried a further rebooting - both at the same time. Sometimes this just makes these problems go away.
