NAM software release

Is there a way to find out what the software release is on a NAM. The NAM is FIBER BASED not copper. So I am asuming it is 4.1 I do not have anything to power it up on right now. Is the release somewhere on the casing of the hard drive. It is going on MICS with 6.1 Basicly is there anyway to find the release with out powering it up on a KSU.

not really need to bring up and f 983 passwork then 9 will get you release unless its brand new with a manufactered date within last 6 months 4.1 is about 6 to 9 months old

Even though the label on the case may say NVM2 or NVM3 it may have been upgraded to 4 somewhere along the line. Unless it is very new, it likely is not 4.1
The only way is to boot it up on a working MICS. An older release of MICS would be my choice because if the NAM is an older release it will not boot on 6.1.
Login and press '9' for the release.
It would help to know if it was a '2','3', or '4' digit NAM previously

If the MICS is 6.1, you need to have 4.1 NAM
