Nam Sekur file

I have a NAM, on the floppy with the sekur file on it. I can see the sysid backwards in notepad or wordpad. I was trying to find the 2 to 4 upgrade key that is in there. Thanks in advanced.

You need to put the sekur disk into the NAM then reboot the NAM and the code will be installed.

Thanks curlycord, I did know that. Was curious how to actually determine the actual key in the notepad file. Thanks for your reply again.

I probably tried that once upon a time but cant even recall looking at the file been so long.

Did you ever find the T7406e upgrade kit? and did it help?

I vaguely remember looking at sekur files long ago. As I recall the actual keycode usually started with 0102 or something similar and was 12 digits long. It should be somewhere in the sekur file and might be shown in reverse like the system ID for the NAM.

Your close exsmogger, it always starts with a 02 0(last number of serial number)so example 0307 000 14656 the first 4 digits of key would be 0206. Could not spot anything like that in notepad. it must get changed during backup, then converted back on restore. Thanks for your suggestion. This was basically out of curiosity.

They must have encrypted the keycode. Oh those wacky Canadians.
