I have a customer with a release 4 Nam. I would like to know if there is a way to turn off the option under personnel greeting in a mailbox that allows you to select to not recieve messages.

no all greetings allow msg's to be left...if you want no msg then remove ext from mbox and call will go to gen del mb or del mb nad change fna to none

6 months until ski season starts...sadly i must resign myself to the warmer weather"this will include a normal 8-5 work day, 5 days a week"

are you asking for a mailbox to just play a greeting, and not let the caller leave a message? If so, you can do that. Make the mailbox an info type, instead of subscriber.

But no, you cant change it via the greeting option

Actually, is it not the Alternate greeting that gives an option whether to receive messages or not??

You can disable the ability to receive messages with the alternate- Tech9- I suggest you read up on the options as I did.

A star for you serenity
