NAM question

Hi Guys,
My customer has a NAM which has 2 COM Ports on it. How can I connect a LAptop to it to do maintenance. I want to know if I would just use Hyper Terminal or do I require the NRU software to connect. Can you also let me know the default settings such as baud rate, and any default passwords which would be required to connect?

What type of maintenance? VM config is done either through the phone, or using VM manager (not NRU).

What is the NAM version? What you think is a com port may be parrallel printer port.
