NAM question length of silence

I have a customer who tells me when they are leaving a voice mail in a subscriber mail box on there copper NAM 4.1 and they pause for a couple seconds, they get cut off by ther voice mail saying your message is not long enough. The it says record again then it cuts them off. The question they have is can you set the time of silence to allow them to pause longer. Thanks for any help. thephoneboy
