NAM NT5B76AC

I recently upgraded our 0x32 MICS system to 5.0. However our NAM NT5B75AC (it connects via extension cords like a Flash does) no longer can be seen. Can I upgrade the voice mail system? Or do I need to purchase a new NAM and fiber cartridge?

What is the current software level on your NAM?

It needs to be at least 4.0 to work with the 5.0 mICS. Also you will need the Redirect DN patch in order for your phones to forward to personal mailboxes correctly.

To find your software level do this:

Feature 983 - Log in as normal - Your screen will show:

Admin
MBOX AA OTHR - Dial 9 on your dial pad.
Your screen will show

NVM X.X.XX

What does it say?

Also check your hard drive size. If you need to upgrade you'll need a 540 MB hard drive. To check this do this:

Feature 915 (or whatever your access server code is)
Password: 2223772 - Screen will show

ACCESS Server
BACK NEXT ADMIN - Press Admin - Screen will show

A. Prt queue mgr
QUIT NEXT SHOW - Press NEXT until you see

F. Disk Restrict
QUIT NEXT SHOW - Press SHOW

C:Rest:xxxxxxkb
NEXT SIZE CHG - Press SIZE

What does it say? If the display shows 263872kb, you have a 270 MB dard disk drive. The hard disk drive myst be replaced before attempting the software upgrade.
