In a personal subscriber mailbox you can choose your alternate greeting to play during, for instance, lunchtime. Now when someone calls into that ext and the mailbox picks up, it gives a chime then the alternate greeting plays.

This chime doesn't play when you choose your primary greeting, just when you choose the alternate greeting.

How do you get this chime OFF! I can't find where you could possibly turn this feature off. MRoberts

I dont think you can turn that off. The whole reason behind it so the caller will listen to the message, unlike with the primary greeting - which you can by pass. I will keep researching and if I come up with anything I will let you know. Good luck

yeah, to my knowledge there is no way to eliminate this. If anyone does know I'd like to know as well.
