nam failing backup

I have a customer who is trying to back up his nam but it fails on the third disk. He has tried the disks in different order and has tried different disks but it always fails on the third one. Is there a way to fix this or is it a failing hard disk?

what does it say on failure? try a reboot

I have seen this. You can try powering the NAM down and swapping the Floppy drive. Be warned it is one of the two standard drive types. Make sure you take the drive with you to the store. If it doesn't match up on the connector side, it won't fit as designed.

Reboot might clear it, I would give that a go first.
