Hi,

I have a NAM ver 2.0 or 2.2 which I am trying to backup the sekur file. The f915 starts to work but eventually it says "check floppy" rather than "backup complete". I have checked the write protection on floppy, format, etc. Can't figure out what the problem would be. Any suggests? Thanks.

I have run into this before... bad flopy drive. pull a drive out of any computer and stuff it in there it should work. It sits in a closet collecting dust for the last 7 years and the one time you want it to work....[wink]

Sometimes it is the floppy drive...or ribbon cable or cable connections, but it may be worse if it still fails. The floppy drive controller chips on the mother board may defective. Not a nice prospect, since it's definetly a repair at this point. I hope it is as simple as the floppy drive or cables for you. darnold@americaii.com

Late reply: Replaced the floppy, OK now.
