NAM back up via OS

I have a NAM 4.1 linked into a network via the network adapter with a network cable and using the IP address I am accessing the NAM menu. I know that I can not back up the entire database using diskettes and the external floppy disk drive. But I would think that a direct link to the NAM would allow for me to back up the entire database i.e. messages, greetings, CCRs etc.

Has anyone done this, can I extract, copy and transfer a file(s) and store them offline?
